Half Day Tour to Jerash

Start your tour with pickup from the designated meeting point then travel to Jerash in a private air-conditioned vehicle. One of Decapolis City, Jerash, is one of the best examples of a Roman provincial city in the Middle East. Only 50 km north of Amman. It was initially built by Alexander the Great in 332 BC and started to prosper after the Roman conquest in 63 BC.

With your experienced guide, wonder among the ancient temples, theaters, plazas, paths and streets enclosed within the remaining city walls. The Artemis Temple, the Colonnaded Street and many other ancient buildings give you the feeling of the great civilization and the history of the region.

Discover the remains of settlements dating back to the Bronze Age, Iron Age, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Umayyad, and Abbasid periods. Journey through the ancient city gate and walk around the well-preserved ruins as your guide tells you the marvelous tales of the city.
