We continue to the oldest area in Sharjah known as the <strong>heart of the city<\/strong>, where Naboodah house, Souk Al Arsa and other wealthy families\u2019 houses are situated, we pass by to get an idea of how people lived once before the discovery of oil. Continue to the Gold Souk (know as <strong>Blue Souk or Central Market<\/strong>) with its typical Arabic architecture through the <strong>Corniche<\/strong> passing by <strong>King Faisal mosque<\/strong> which is was built as a gift from the royal family of Saudi Arabia. Free time for shopping at the market, there you will find a large selection of carpets, antiques and curios.
