The emirate of Sharjah is just 16 KM from the center of Dubai and has established itself as the cultural center of the Middle East. The visit starts at the culture roundabout (Quran Roundabout), before going to the Museum of Islamic Civilization (Al-Majjarah museum), where more than 5,000 artifacts from the Islamic world are situated. We continue to the oldest area in Sharjah known as the heart of the city, where Naboodah house, Souk Al Arsa and other wealthy families’ houses are situated, we pass by to get an idea of how people lived once before the discovery of oil. Continue to the Gold Souk (know as Blue Souk or Central Market) with its typical Arabic architecture through the Corniche passing by King Faisal mosque which is was built as a gift from the royal family of Saudi Arabia. Free time for shopping at the market, there you will find a large selection of carpets, antiques and curios. Return to Dubai.
